Last week Friday Serendipity was at the Dutch Design Week. It was great to have an inspirational event and to talk to visitors and other speakers.
Together with Space&Matter and LUMO Labs, Jonas Onland presented a vision on how local government and business could work together to achieve sustainable change.
Cities are the right place for doing so, they:
- occupy 3% of global land surface
- but consume 75% of global natural resources
- and are responsible for 60% of global carbon emissions
These numbers are impressive, they mean we have a lot to win in working together effectively.
